The third SNOLA - State of Art in Neuro-oncology is coming !!! We have the honour to invite you to participate of the biggest neuro-oncology event in LATAM. We had the great opportunity to check the increasing interest in integrative neuro-oncology proved by our numbers of almost 600 attendees in Rio 2016, 1000 in Sao Paulo 2018 and now for the first time are will land in the beautiful Buenos Aires in August 2020. We have the chance to develop a joint meeting with the Argentinian Association of Neurosurgery at the amazing Puerto Madero. As usual all new technologies, treatment, protocols in all fields of Neuro-oncology like neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, radiotherapy, pathology and imaging, palliative care will be addressed by the best international and well known professionals in all related areas ( so far 12 international speakers confirmed ). The best chairs of each speciality are developing a great program that will create a landmark event !!! It’s very i important to LATAM to keep our mission of create leaders in t Neuro-Oncology field and provide the best quality treatment for all patients with CNS tumors. We are waiting for your participation, attending and or submitting your paper ( best ones will be awarded ), enjoying the social events or simple improving your network with the best specialist of the world.

CNS tumors are a group of tumors representing a formidable chalenge in diagnosis as well therapy in general. The biannual SNOLA meeting, held in Buenos Aires, on August,, 2020, will be a great opportunity to bring together with the whole spectrum of professionals involved in the care of these patients: Neurosugeons, Oncologists, Radio Oncologists, Neuropathologists, Radiologists and Palliative Care physicians,. In this issue we Will have a select group of international experts in the field, such as Dr. Roger Stupp, Dr.Paul Brown, Dr. Raymond Sawaia and Dr Susan Chang among others. We expect an excellent congress with a very strong cientific program, but also bringing interactive case-based sessions.

President 47th Argentine Congress of Neurosurgery
The 2020 SNOLA will be developed together with the Argentine Congress of Neurosurgery as a “Joint Meeting” to be held in the city of Buenos Aires from 19th to 22nd August in 2020.
Our objective in this Congress is to exchange criteria, evaluate progresses, innovations and present tendencies for the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors.
To meet this goal, the Scientific Committee is preparing a dynamic program integrating all of the disciplines involved in the treatment of tumors of the nervous system, addressing not only neurosurgery but also clinical oncology, radiotherapy, psycho-oncology, palliative care, pathological anatomy and molecular biology.
Very distinguished speakers will participate in the event. Debates, conferencies, case-discussion sessions with experts, firing squad sessions, poster presentations are being organized as well as an awards ceremony.
Argentinians are very warm and hospitable and we hope this will be an good opportunity for your families to visit the country, enjoy its numerous touristic resorts, learn about tango and its culture, and try the typical local food.

SNOLA - Capítulo Neuro-Endocrinología Scientific Committee
Siguiendo los lineamientos generales de SNOLA, el Capítulo de Neuro-Endocrinología los invita a participar de las actividades a desarrollarse en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en Agosto de 2020.
Con el objetivo principal de promover el conocimiento científico en el manejo de la patología hipofisaria, contaremos con la presencia de referentes regionales e Internacionales de las distintas áreas involucradas en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la patología hipofisaria oncológica.
Se discutirán el manejo endocrinológico pre y postoperatorio, la importancia del diagnóstico histológico, las nuevas técnicas de diagnóstico radiológico, las indicaciones de los distintos tipos de abordajes quirúrgicos, el tratamiento radiante posterior y el manejo oncológico en contexto de malignidad.
El formato incluirá presentaciones marginales y mesas de oposición pero siempre priorizando la participación activa de todos los participantes durante la discusión.
Esperamos contar con la participación de todos ustedes.
